Title Match For Takeover New York, Big NXT UK Debut, Leaked Photos

– We still have around six weeks until WWE invades New Jersey for WrestleMania 35 weekend. Like previous years, NXT will produce a show that usually is the highlight of the long weekend.

We learned at the latest NXT UK tapings that Pete Dunne will defend the WWE UK Championship against WALTER. This is huge match as Dunne has been the leading force behind NXT UK and WALTER is one of the biggest signings to come out of Austria. At the moment, they are the only confirmed match for Takeover New York.

Dunne is the second person to hold the WWE UK Championship and will be champion for close to 700 days by the time Takeover New York rolls around. WALTER debuted at the end of Takeover Blackpool and confronted Dunne. Both men posed and the crowd erupted as they know these two have the potential to steal the weekend.

– Also at the tapings, 2017 Mae Young Classic participant Viper (also known as Piper Niven) debuted. After Rhea Ripley defeated Xia Brookside, she cut a promo about being the best female talent in NXT UK. Viper then appeared and cut a promo, hinting to a match in the near future.

– The continuation of leaked photos has not stopped. This time, NXT star Matt Riddle and RAW Tag team Champion Dash Wilder had explicit photos posted online. We will not be sharing the pictures at WrestleNewz or providing links and we ask our readers to do the same.

In the past, female superstars had their private photos and videos posted online. That includes Paige, Charlotte Flair, Maria Kanellis, Melina, Summer Rae, Toni Storm and Victoria to name a few.

Since the photos leaked, Riddle and Wilder addressed the matter on social media.
