Stephanie McMahon Vs. Becky Lynch Plan, Sasha Banks Still Not Cleared

– Becky Lynch opened up RAW this week via an explosive promo with Stephanie McMahon, that saw The Man attack the Billion Dollar Princess after WWE’s CBO suspended her for not getting check out by the company’s doctor. The WWE Universe is fully aware that Becks’ knee injury is a work, but many fans have questioned the true reason behind RAW’s opening promo.

Could a new high-level program for Lynch be in the works?

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently noted that a Stephanie McMahon versus Becky Lynch match is being talked about for this year’s SummerSlam.

While SummerSlam is months away, it also happens to be WWE’s next Big Four event, and something else that is interesting to note around this report is that a championship would be on the line between the two ladies.

The Man versus The Billion Dollar Princess should be an interesting storyline to watch unfold.

-As previously reported by WNZ, Sasha Banks missed some house shows this past weekend due to an injury sustained at the Royal Rumble with Ronda Rousey. She was not cleared for in-ring action during this week’s Monday Night RAW, which could explain why Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross attacked the Hug n Boss Connection before their tag team bout, and Bayley did the in-ring work for the match as Banks “recovered” in the corner.

Dave Meltzer chimed in on this during his Wrestling Observer Radio segment, stating that The Boss has still yet to be cleared for action, and while she was ringside this week, this rarely happens. It most likely occurred to allow the Women’s Tag Championship storyline to progress as the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is right around the corner.

While Sasha’s injury is not known, the WWE clearly has confidence that The Boss will heal up in time for the event, which is scheduled for next Sunday February 17^th.
