Seth Rollins is on his way to Wrestlemania, but has yet to wrestle in that squared circle since his 2019 Royal Rumble win. Reports indicate that he’s nursing a back injury; therefore, he has not been participating in house shows and was not part of the WWE’s last pay-per-view (PPV), Elimination Chamber.

While he was part of Monday Night RAW this week, in a segment where he and Roman Reigns came in to save Dean Ambrose who was ambushed by Elias, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Bobby Lashley, Wrestling Observer Newsletter has noted that Seth Rollins has not been fully cleared to compete in ring as of yet. It was reported that he was given the clearance for a little physical action; however, due to his back issues, he’s not listed for any house shows this weekend.

Clearly, WWE officials are allowing a little more rest up time for The Architect. With his Wrestlemania 35 Universal Championship bout against Brock Lesnar waiting in the wings, the company is most likely giving Rollins some time off live events to ensure he fully heals. Plus, with Fastlane about a week away, and a good chance he may participate in that event, they might want him to take this week and weekend off to make sure he can be a part of something big at that PPV.

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa made a splashing main roster debut on the February 18 edition of Monday Night RAW and the February 19 edition of SmackDown LIVE along with fellow NXTers Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, and Aleister Black.

Unfortunately during his SD LIVE tag match last week, the looming “X” sign was thrown up by a referee after Sheamus fell on Tommaso’s knee. Ciampa finished the bout; however, reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter have surfaced stating that the NXT Champion is currently injured.

While the severity of the injury is unclear, the report noted that Tommaso was supposed to fix the issue after his New York NXT TakeOver match against Gargano, so it’s clear he was already dealing with this injury before his main roster debut, which is the reason why he wasn’t on WWE television this week.

Ciampa was supposed to sit ringside during this edition of SD LIVE as his frenemy Johnny Gargano faced Cesar in a single’s match, but the WWE opted for a Hardy Boyz reunion return instead.

Ciampa is not scheduled for any further events this week. WNZ will keep you posted on any emerging updates on this story.
