It’s being reported today that the historic career of Georges St-Pierre will officially be closed out tomorrow in Montreal, Quebec…
Benoit Beaudoin of the Quebec sports network, RDS, was the first to report that GSP is holding a press conference tomorrow to announce he’s hanging up the gloves. The report cites the fact that St-Pierre’s has failed to secure a bout with UFC lightweight champ, Khabib Nurmagomedov, which the star has said in recent months he hoped to get.
In addition, the 37-year-old St-Pierre recently tweeted out this image and comment.
After all these years, we remain undefeated together.

So, when you consider that Dana White has repeatedly said St-Pierre wasn’t going to get a shot at the 155 title, and that the latter had largely focused in on that fight, this news shouldn’t come as a surprise.
GSP will close out his career with an awe-inspiring record of 26-2, on a 13 fight winning streak, and having won both the UFC’s welterweight and middleweight titles. Truly one of the all-time greats.
