Kurt Angle’s Last Match In The Works For WM 35 + Where’s Asuka?

– The WWE Universe has seen Kurt Angle in the ring a lot as of late, and while some of his matches have ended on a low note (i.e. tapping out to Drew McIntyre via the Angle Lock on the November 5, 2018 edition of Monday Night RAW), most within the WWE Universe would agree that it’s great seeing the legend on television now and again.

Angle is classified as a part-time superstar, working the occasional RAW and pay-per-view; however, his in-ring career could very well be winding down to an end and soon.

Oh You Didn’t Know’s Brad Shepard recently reported that there seems to be something in the works right now in regard to Kurt Angle’s last in-ring bout, and all arrows are pointing at Wrestlemania 35.

As a WWE Hall of Famer, there isn’t much more Kurt Angle needs to accomplish in that squared and having him woven in recent storylines have enhanced the excitement around Monday Night RAW programming. Still, here’s hoping the company has a non-wrestling role in mind for him moving forward. #ItsTrue #ItsDAMNTrue

– Having The Empress of Tomorrow thrusted back into the SmackDown LIVE spotlight at the end of 2018 was a good thing. She won the blue brand women’s championship, and she would move on to have Becky Lynch tap out to retain this title at the 2019 Royal Rumble.

Having said that, she’s been off television since, with zero storylines involving her or championship. With a lot of time and focus on the Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey program (that now involves Charlotte Flair) as of late, will Asuka be left in the dust come Wrestlemania 35?

Twitter handle Wrestle Votes chimed in on Asuka recently. Tweet below:

This makes complete and utter sense once you think about it, as Elimination Chamber has a huge focus on crowning the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. Here’s hoping the WWE can come up with a viable opponent who’s ready for Asuka come the Grandest Stage of Them All.
