The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has recently reported that former 16-time WWE Champion John Cena is currently booked for the Grandest Stage of The All; however, the powers that be have yet to confirm his Wrestlemania 35 opponent.

The Cenation Leader was supposed to be placed in a program with Lars Sullivan prior to the 2019 Royal Rumble, but nothing ever occurred, as reports surfaced that Sullivan suffered an anxiety attack before hitting the main roster. There has been no information around Lars debuting anytime soon, and since the report, the WWE Universe has seen multiple NXT callups on both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE . It’s unclear if the plan is to move forward on an angle with Sullivan or not. A storyline was created on the cuff where Cena suffered an ankle injury at the hands of Drew McIntyre, just before the Rumble. Whether officials plan to organize a program between John Cena and The Scottish Psychopath for WM 35 remains to be seen.

With Cena currently filming Playing with Fire, the WWE will need to figure something out and soon. That project wraps up a mere six days before Wrestlemania, and if John is confirmed for the big event, he’ll need a major superstar to battle with.

– Well, let me tell you something, brother: Hulkamania will be running wild on Netflix and very soon!

As per the Hollywood reporter, film actor Chris Hemsworth, who’s played Thor in the Avengers movie franchise, is set to step into the role of WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan, in a biopic set for the streaming service. It is being reported that Netflix obtained the rights to his life story from the Hulkster himself, a.k.a. Terry Bollea.

The movie will seemingly take a close look at Hogan’s career; from his days in the Florida wrestling scene, to his rise of becoming the top superstar of the (then) World Wrestling Federation’s in the 1980s, and eventually turning into a pop culture icon.

No word around release dates or productions starts for the Hulk Hogan movie as of yet, so stay tuned Hulkamaniacs!
