– Yesterday, Corey Graves’ personal life was made public after his wife accused the color commentator of sleeping with SmackDown superstar Carmella. Graves’ wife, Amy, posted the news on Instagram and later shared (new and old) text messages from her husband whom she has three children with. All of the posts have now been deleted, but there are screenshots as seen below.
In one set of texts, Graves is telling someone that his wife will not be happy as this ordeal could be featured on the upcoming season of Total Divas as the show contacted him as Carmella is taking part in the show. In another round of text from Graves which are not dated, he seems depressed and his words can be taken as suicidal. Then in a recent text, Graves tells his wife to remove the post after claiming WWE said they can sue.
Carmella and Graves have been silent on social media since the news broke. Graves is set to work the commentary table for tonight’s Elimination Chamber pay per view and Carmella is taking part in one of the Chamber matches to crown the first ever Women’s Tag Team Champions. You have to imagine the live crowd will have some chants for both WWE employees.
– Kurt Angle recently took part in a Q&A on Facebook and a fan wanted to know about his future inside the ring. The Olympic gold medalist was not shy about retirement.
“I have nothing that I feel I need to accomplish other than an amazing retirement match, whenever that is” said Angle.
When Angle debuted for WWE, he quickly skyrocket to the top before leaving the company at the high of his career. He would later rejoin them after a 10 year hiatus by entering the WWE Hall of Fame.
Since then, Angle has wrestled a few matches but he is not the same caliber superstar that awed fans in the early 2000s. There have been rumors that Angle could retire at WrestleMania 35 and his current storyline seems to indicate that as a strong possibility.
