It wasn’t the kind of dramatic finish we are used to with Michael Page, but he still showed his overall MMA skills at Bellator 216.

Page downed Paul Daley via decision, advancing in the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix. He will face Douglas Lima in the semifinals.

The bout served as the headline fight on DAZN from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut Saturday night.

In the co-main event Mirko Cro Cop picked up a decision win over Roy Nelson, sweeping the scorecards. Cro Cop improved to 7-0 in rematches in his MMA career, avenging a 2011 loss in the UFC to Nelson.

Cro Cop has now won nine consecutive fights dating back to 2014.

Cheick Kongo staked his claim to being the No. 1 contender in the heavyweight division, earning a decision over Vitaly Minakov. Kongo is on an eight-fight win streak.
