Bellator 216 Primer: Watch Vitaly Minakov Wreck Opponents Ahead of Promotional Return

One of the planet’s best heavyweights outside of the UFC will be returning to Bellator this weekend, as former champ Vitaly Minakov will battle Cheick Kongo.

The undefeated, Russian heavyweight will face Kongo at Bellator 216, which will go down on Saturday in Uncasville. Due to a contract dispute, Minakov (21-0) hasn’t fought under the Bellator banner since 2014.

You can watch some of the renowned fighter’s Bellator finishes below.

Most recently, at a Fight Nights Global card in December, Minakov took out Tony Johnson.
