Donald Cerrone will return to the cage next Saturday night, and he’ll do so, having made history in his last outing.
Cerrone, who is booked to face rising lightweight Alex Hernandez at UFC Brooklyn, is coming off a submission win over Mike Perry in November. With that victory, not only did Cerrone set a new record for finishes in the Octagon, of 15, but “Cowboy” now holds the record for most victories, 21.
The 35-year-old Cerrone heads into the Hernandez fight armed with an overall record of 34-11, with 1 no-contest.
