Holdup In Brock Lesnar's UFC Return

– Longtime wrestler Lisa Marie Varon has decided that she will retire from in-ring competition at the end of the year. She is best known from her WWE days as Victoria and Tara in Impact Wrestling.

She worked for WWE from 2002 to 2009, where she was a two time Women’s Champion. Some of her other biggest moments included being part of the the first ever female steel cage match, shaving the head of Molly Holly at WrestleMania XX and being the 2004 PWI Women of the Year.

Despite retiring from WWE in 2009, she would sign with Impact Wrestling shortly after. She spent two stints with the promotion before being released in 2011. During her time, she won the Women’s Knockout Championship five times and was a Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Book Tessmacher.

Since then, Lisa Marie Varon has worked the Indy scene; including a few appearances for Ring of Honor. She even started her own restaurant.

Below is Lisa Marie Varon’s official announcement on 2019 being her final year in the wrestling business.

– Brock Lesnar only has two days left before his suspension from MMA fighting ends. Still, he needs to pay a $250,000 fine before being allowed to compete again. This all stems back to UFC 200 when Lesnar failed several drug tests for his fight with Mark Hunt.

With Lesnar being such a huge draw, the UFC wants the WWE Universal Champion to return for at least one more fight. At one point, Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Championship looked to be lock as they got into a minor shoving contest at UFC 226. While talk has slowed down, UFC President Dana White is still interested in making the fight happen.
