Fans of the television show “Duck Dynasty” are ecstatic right now after the Robertson family made a huge announcement that took many by surprise.
Fox News reported that Rebecca Robertson just took to Instagram saying she welcomed her first child with husband John Reed Loflin on Friday! Rebecca reportedly gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who she named Zane Israel Loflin.
Rebecca is the daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, who were celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary on the day the child was born. The two could not have been more excited to become grandparents!
“Can’t think of a better way to celebrate 27 years than to become grandparents together Happy Anniversary @realwilliebosshog,” Korie wrote on Instagram. “Feels like yesterday we were standing in front of the church promising to love each other forever…We’re really doing it, babe Let’s go for 27 more, and how about another 27 after that…#lovemakesthingshappen #willieandkorie.”
Born in Taiwan, Rebecca came to the United States as a foreign exchange student when she was 16, and she joined the Robertson family as a foster child in 2004. She has been married to John Reed since 2016, as they tied the knot two years after meeting at the 2014 Voodoo Fest in New Orleans.
