Shocking news has rocked the WWE Universe! As reported on Cageside SeatsDean Ambrose allegedly put in his notice with the WWE. Despite being one of the main attractions of the company, Ambrose could be on his way out shortly after WrestleMania 35. Here are some of the rumors we managed to dig up!

Hokey S***

Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose’s discontent stems from WWE creative it would appear. He apparently is tired of his own character, describing it as “hokey s***.”

The imminent departure of Dean Ambrose has nothing to do with money. According to PWTorch, Ambrose has turned down a seven-figure deal from the WWE. While most of us would melt at such an offer, Ambrose’s refusal of that offer is a clear sign things are getting unbearable for him in the company.

Reports state that only a small number of people are aware of Dean’s decision to make the company. It is alleged he stated his intentions to WWE management last week during a contract meeting with Vince McMahon. Whether or not Dean will address the WWE about his decision remains to be seen.

What Is Going To Happen to Dean in Weeks to Come?

Dean Ambrose

I believe we can determine whether the rumors are true or not by looking at how the WWE is treating Ambrose. If he indeed wants to leave, the company is bound to put him on the backburner for weeks to come, since the last thing they want is media attention on him.

The recent events within the WWE could already be an indicator of Dean Ambrose’s imminent departure. Not only was he eliminated in quite the underwhelming manner at the Royal Rumble, he lost again to Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw. One thing that still puzzles me though… What was Dean going to say in the ring? Was it for real? Was it a promo? Or is this all a major publicity stunt? We will have to wait and see.

What to Make of it All?

Dean Ambrose

There is no doubt that Dean Ambrose’s status within the company has not shattered the glass ceiling over the past couple of years, so I can see where he is coming from. Hate to say it, but I have not enjoyed his matches like I used to. He is not a bad wrestler; I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it is frustration with the company that shines through in the ring? Who knows?

As for Ambrose’s future, if he indeed leaves the WWE after WrestleMania 35, I’m sure he will have zero problems finding a contract elsewhere. AEW might show some interest, as well as other indie promotions out there. It could be the perfect opportunity for Dean to reinvent himself.
