Since Amanda Nunes quickly put away Cris “Cyborg” at UFC 232 to become the promotion’s latest champ-champ, there’s been extensive discussion as to whether the star would defend the 145 belt. Well, recently the decorated fighter announced her days competing at featherweight are done…

Due to the fact “Cyborg” went well over a decade without losing a MMA fight, there’s been plenty of calls for the former champ to get an immediate rematch with Nunes. But, recently the latter tweeted out the comments below:

Sorry Cristiane but I’m done with 145. My Goal was to be a double champ. But, now I can help you build the division. I got someone for you @Judo_Kayla is a true 145er

Not only that, but it looks like Nunes hopes to make history again by securing a third UFC title:

OKAY GUYS I’M DONE PLAYING. IM REALLY PLANNING ON GOING DOWN TO FIGHT FOR THE 125 BELT.

So, it will be interesting to see how this impacts the women’s featherweight division. Will the UFC kepe the division around? And who might fight for the vacant belt?
