If you follow boxing then you know this past weekend was a historical one for the sport, but not in a celebratory way, if you’ve watched HBO Boxing over the years.
The cable channel has been broadcasting boxing matches for 45 years, but Saturday night marked the final broadcast for HBO Boxing.
Understandably, it was an emotional occasion for veteran announcer Jim Lampley, who has been synonymous with the HBO Boxing brand for years. You can watch his memorable sign off below.
