Vince McMahon’s RAW Announcement, SmackDown Superstar Hurt

– After seeing the ratings reach epic lows in recent weeks, Vince McMahon has decided to appear on RAW. Since Vince rarely appears on TV anymore, he should have something to say that could shakeup the WWE.

There are lots of rumors circulating on what Vince will say such as the introduction of new titles, the end of the brand split, fire some general managers and/or commissioners, and even something to do with the XFL. In Figure Four Daily, Bryan Alvarez believes the announcement will have to do with several NXT wrestlers coming to the main roster.

“Maybe he debuts a few guys and he really shook the thing up and he gave us some matches we want to see and a few happy endings and the show ends and everyone’s really excited,” said Alvarez. “If that happens, everybody’s got to remember there’s still gotta be another show next week.”

Not only are the ratings reaching record lows, but with Christmas and New Years taking place in just over a week, the numbers for those shows (which will be taped) probably will not be much better.

Names like Aleister Black, Velveteen Dream and EC3 have been discussed during the last month about making their transition to the main roster.

– WWE’s live on Saturday from Oakland featured a SmackDown superstar possibly get injured. The match saw The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billy Kay) take on Naomi & Lana. During the match, Naomi and Kaye butted heads; which sent Kay to the canvas with a dazed look. She rolled outside the ring and did not return for the remainder of the match. The referee ended throwing up the X symbol and trainers escorted Kay to the back.

There have been several concussions as of late involving wrestlers and WWE does not take those matters lightly. As of now, there is no word on the status of Kay.
