UFC Adelaide: Junior dos Santos Hands Tai Tuivasa His First Defeat

UFC Adelaide was largely built around Tai Tuivasa, but Junior dos Santos ended up handing the Australian fighter his first pro defeat.

Tuivasa came out with a ton of pressure to begin the fight, and throughout round one he continued to move forward. Although dos Santos attempted to counter with some big shots, before round one ended, Tuivasa landed a punishing kick to the leg.

In round two, Tuivasa came out aggressively once again, but a couple of minutes in he was dropped by a huge right from JDS. Dos Santos moved into mount and proceeded to fire down shots from above, and the referee brought the action to a halt.
