UFC 234: Israel Adesanya Says he Planned Breakout 2018 Campaign

There’s no question that one of the more memorable and impressive campaigns of 2018 belonged to Israel Adesanya, and recently “The Last Stylebender” reported all of it was planned.

The vaunted striker made his UFC debut back in February, and Adesanya proceeded to take out  Rob Wilkinson. After getting by Marvin Vettori via split decision in April, Adesanya outscored longtime middleweight contender Brad Tavares via UD in July. Most recently, Adesanya placed himself in the title shot mix by putting away Derek Brunson at UFC 230 last month.

Well, up next, Adesanya is going to battle the legendary Anderson Silva on February 9th at UFC 234, in a fight that will award a title shot. Recently the UFC posted the latest episode for “Connected”, and it features Adesanya talking with John Gooden, and him relaying he planned every step of his breakout year.

If you’re a fan of Adesanya, it’s a must watch interview.
