This time two years ago, the MMA world was waiting to see whether Ronda Rousey could return to the top of the UFC’s bantamweight division, and on December 30th, Amanda Nunes answered that question in emphatic fashion.
Rousey returned to the Octagon at UFC 207, for the first time since November, 2015, when she lost the 135 title to Holly Holm. As you can see by watching the video below, however, Nunes proved to be far too much for the star and finished Rousey in under 60 seconds.
Fast forward to today, and Nunes is set to challenge featherweight champ Cris “Cyborg” at UFC 232, December 29th.
