The MMA world is still buzzing from the news of an abnormal finding in a drug test administered to Jon Jones, and the fighter is insisting he’s clean via a new statement.
Yesterday it was announced that a recent drug test administered to Jones indicates the presence of a the metabolite he was flagged for last year. USADA has concluded that the test’s result is tied to that case, and accordingly, the California Commission has granted Jones a license to complete (further, the California Commission oversaw Jones’ case in 2017). Since the Nevada Commission has not, UFC 232 and Jones’ bout with Alexander Gustafsson has been moved to L.A.
