Rizin FF is ramping up the promotions for its upcoming New Year’s Eve card, which will feature an exhibition boxing match between rising star, Tenshin Nasukawa and the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Recently the Japanese organization posted the video below, which documents the lead-up to the Nasukawa – Mayweather announcement (although there was some initial confusion about whether the fight would happen). It also features Nasukawa discussing his strategy for Mayweather Jr. as well as footage of his recent, stoppage win over Taiki Naito at RISE 129.
Rizin’s NYE card will be hosted by the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Rizin 14 will also feature Bellator 135 champ Darrion Caldwell facing Kyoji Horiguchi for the promotion’s inaugural, bantamweight title.
