There’s an epidemic going on in this country as liberals are trying to silence conservative voices. They are doing this because they can’t stand to hear a point of view that differs from their own. On Tuesday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” Joy Behar handed all of us a grim reminder of what is happening to conservatives right now when she launched a vile attack on Fox News. Thankfully, her conservative cohosts Abby Huntsman and Meghan McCain weren’t about to let her get away with it.

“Here’s what I think. I want to say one thing about it. He’s the only president who has his own TV channel in history. Nixon didn’t have it. So he has Fox News, and Fox will just back him up,” Behar began. She’s clearly ignoring the fact that Barack Obama had CNN, MSNBC, and virtually every other network on television worshipping him like some sort of God for eight years.

The Daily Caller reported that Huntsman, who previously worked at Fox, tried to interrupt her by saying, “I would be careful about that though—”

“Let me finish the thought,” Behar continued. “His failure as a president means their failure as a station. They have everything invested in propping him up and backing his lies. So that is a very, very unusual position for someone to be in.”

Behar and her fellow liberals hate Fox News because the network has refused to submit to the unprecedented pressure from the left to bash President Donald Trump. Liberals like Behar won’t be satisfied until there are absolutely no conservative outlets on television anywhere, and they may be closer to making this happen than many of us think.

Huntsman and McCain Fire Back

Luckily, Huntsman was quick to shut Behar down.

“Did you watch the Chris Wallace interview with President Trump a few weeks ago?” she asked, to which Behar quietly replied, “Some of it.”

“Did you think there were some hard-hitting questions there?” Huntsman followed up.

“Yeah,” Behar admitted tersely.

“That was Fox News. There are a number of folks that very much push back on him, and not in his camp that are great journalists,” Huntsman said, with McCain adding, “Bret Baier, Kennedy, Harris Faulkner, Shep Smith, I could go on, and on, and on. There are a lot of great people at Fox News.”

There are indeed a lot of great people at Fox, but the left does not want Americans to know that. The left has already succeeded in silencing conservative voices on social media venues like Facebook and Twitter. Once they have completely succeeded in getting rid of all conservatives there, they will undoubtedly move to television and target Fox. We can only hope that Fox continues to stay strong and is able to survive the liberal attack that is undoubtedly coming their way.
