Sad Zack Ryder Stat

– We learned earlier in the month that Impact Wrestling is once again moving to another TV station. They are leaving POP TV and headed to the Pursuit Network. The move happens January 11 at 10 PM EST.

While Impact Wrestling officials are seeing the move as the right direction for the company, it should be noted they will see a 55% drop in access. Currently, POP TV is available in 67 million homes and the Pursuit Network is only seen in 30 million homes. Honestly, I have never heard of the Pursuit Network and it is not listed by my cable provider.

In an interesting turn of events, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Impact Wrestling was trying to sell the promotion to the yet to be confirmed All Elite Wrestling (AEW). This happened several months ago and the offer was declined by AEW. It does not seem like there was much interest on the “mystery” investors to purchase Impact Wrestling. We should know more about AEW come January 1 as The Young Bucks are already teasing huge news.

Impact Wrestling is a far cry from where they were only five years ago. At that time, they had lots of known names throughout the wrestling business and their own crop of talented wrestlers. Plus, they had a prime slot on the former channel known as Spike TV.

– Not everyone gets a chance to compete on Monday’s RAW each week. For fan favorite Zack Ryder, he apparently has not wrestled once in 2018 on RAW and he is now using social media to get booked on the final show of the year. Zyder tweeted,

WWE has given Ryder small pushes here and there, but never made him close to the superstar he deserves to be. With Ryder not being booked on RAW and his former partner Curt Hawkins losing over 200 consecutive matches, it might be the right time to reunite the former tag team.
