UFC Denver: Mike Perry Congratulates Donald Cerrone For Breaking His Arm….

Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry traded plenty of verbal shots, leading up to their bout at UFC Denver on Saturday, but the latter has congratulated “Cowboy” for his win.

The welterweights battled in the co-headliner of Saturday’s event, which ended via a first-round armbar from Cerrone. Perry reported afterwards that the former Jackson – Wink MMA fighter had broken his arm with the technique, and more recently “Platinum” posted the statement below.

Drillers make killers. We fine tuned so many things in my fight game. We did not work or drill offensive ground control and strikes from top. If I drill and flow my jiu jitsu offensive top game the way I worked on my kickboxing flow I’ll be ripping limbs off and landing effective G&P my next match. It will be interesting to see what comes next for Perry, who has now lost three of his last four fights. With the win on Saturday, Cerrone is the new, all time wins leader for the UFC with 21, and he also has the most finishes, 15.
