Donald Cerrone tapped out Mike Perry tonight at UFC Denver and in doing so, “Cowboy” set two, UFC records.

Perry came out hunting with his big punches, while Cerrone countered with level changes and strikes. Approximately halfway into the opening round, Perry took Cerrone down, however, the welterweight reversed nicely.

In the ensuing ground battle, Perry retook the top position but found himself defending an armbar not long after. Eventually, Perry tapped, handing Cerrone his 21st UFC win, the most in the promotion’s history. In addition, Cerrone recorded his 15th finish in the Octagon, another, new UFC record.
