On Thanksgiving, we always try to reflect on the many things to be thankful for. One of them is our brave men and women is the U.S. military. They make all of our freedoms, including celebrating holidays like Thanksgiving, possible.

But no one is more thankful for our military members than their families.

In the following video, we see soldier “Elias” returning home from Afghanistan right before Thanksgiving. He walks into his home past other friends and family members and makes a beeline to the kitchen to find his wife.

When she sees him, she drops to her knees in surprise, crying. They then embrace in a touching scene.
