Ronda Rousey Reveals Her Dream Opponent

Since her arrival in the WWE, Ronda Rousey has been making waves in the women’s division. Proving all her doubters wrong and making a lasting impression with the WWE Universe, Ronda Rousey is set to stay in the WWE for a long time to come.

When asked about her dream opponent during a PWI Podcast, Ronda Rousey revealed an interesting, smart, and intriguing choice as her dream opponent.

Bank on Banks

Banks may not be the most approachable WWE superstar on the roster, but she is a terrific wrestler. This fact has also been noticed by Ronda Rousey, who named Sasha Banks as her dream opponent for the future.

Sasha Banks is a four-time RAW Women’s Champion. In the past, she has put on amazing matches alongside multiple champion Charlotte, but has not been used to her maximum potential in recent months. However, Ronda Rousey would love to face her in the future, which could provide Sasha Banks with a new interesting rivalry.

“I would really love to wrestle Sasha Banks. I think I’ve just been so impressed watching her work, and see her in the back, and see her work. And I was already a fan of her’s before. I think that we would be able to make something great together and I think she has given a lot of women their best matches ever. But I almost feel like I’m not at the right level yet for her. I really think that we could make something really special and really great, but I don’t know that I’m at the level that’s ready for that yet and I don’t know if the company would ever like that, but in a perfect world, I would definitely love that for sure.” – Ronda Rousey

Being An Advocate for Equality

Even though Ronda Rousey has not been on the WWE roster for long, she has been quite the influence when it comes to women’s equality in the wrestling ring. The women’s division has enjoyed more exposure than ever before, which could in some degree be attributed to Ronda’s arrival. While the women who came before Ronda contributed to women’s wrestling in a major way, Ronda put more of the spotlight on the women’s division due to her already famous status in the MMA circuit.

During the interview with the PWI Podcast, Ronda spoke about her desire to see a roster where 50% of the show is represented by women. She believes it is a good goal to pursue and I could not agree with her more!

For those of you who want to see more Ronda in the future, she has a big match coming up with Becky Lynch at Survivor Series. Is she going to be victorious? I cannot wait to find out!
