Roman Reigns Leukemia Update

– The WWE Universe was shaken by Roman Reigns’ October 22nd announcement on Monday Night RAW regarding his leukemia condition. The WWE superstar relinquished his Universal Championship that night, and the roster, officials, and fans have all rallied around Joe Anoa’i in support to help him fight off this terrible disease.

According to reports within the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the good news is that Joe has official started leukemia treatments, and has begun his battle against the condition. The unfortunate news is that there has been no time frame laid out when it comes to Roman Reigns’ return date.

It’s no secret that leukemia is a very serious condition, and Joe Anoa’i has quite the fight ahead of him, but he’s a strong man with a huge support system, and many, many fans who can’t wait to see him return to the WWE and in-ring action.

Everyone here at Wrestlenewz is rooting for Roman Reigns to kick this thing and we all look forward to reporting on his comeback.

WNZ reported earlier this week around Brock Lesnar and his new WWE contract, which apparently has been extended to Wrestlemania 35. It’s also been suggested that The Beast Incarnate’s new WWE deal is flexible, which means he will not be restricted to work with the UFC while contracted to the WWE, if he so chooses to.

Having said that, while Lesnar is slated to participate in this year’s Survivor Series in a Champion versus Champion rematch of sorts against WWE World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles from SmackDown, new details are trickling in about Brock’s WWE appearances moving forward.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Brock’s new WWE deal was solidified on October 18th, but kept a secret so that Roman Reigns could make his leukemia announcement on the October 22nd edition of Monday Night RAW. It was noted that The Beast will not be a part of WWE’s December pay-per-view Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC), and there is no information around Lesnar participating in the 2019 Royal Rumble.
