According to multiple reports, Henry Cejudo will make his first – and likely last – flyweight title defense against T.J. Dillashaw in 2019 at UFC 233.
Cejudo, the reigning champion, and Dillashaw, the bantamweight titleholder, will meet from the Honda Center on January 26.
Earlier this year, Cejudo claimed the title with a decision victory over Demetrious Johnson. The UFC has since moved Johnson to another promotion and has started to release flyweights, signalling the likely end of the division.
But first, Dillashaw will cut down to 125 pounds to try and become the third simultaneous double-champion in the promotion. He won the bantamweight belt again last year over Cody Garbrandt and successfully defended it vs. Garbrandt again.
