Hello again everyone! With Braun Strowman out and getting surgery, the show may have a different look and feel tonight. Right out of the gate, we should learn what will happen to the Corbin-Strowman match which had been set for TLC-a match that would have determined whether Corbin would become the full time RAW General Manager. Will Corbin take over full time tonight? Or will there be some other management changes in store? Could RAW end up under new management? All that, and plenty to discuss as we head toward TLC. Let’s dive in and crack open this Nutshell!
Hands down, this one goes to Zigler and Rollins. They work well together and no doubt want more matches. Part of me was bummed it was not a surprise challenger, but it was a great match. There were a few good ones on the card too.
This one has to go to Alicia Fox. Nothing about watching her work out screams “I am good”. The lopsided Lucha House Party match was also not so great, if you are a stickler on the rules.
Get these hands
Burn it down
This is awesome
Tonight was about two.
Seth Rollins for a great effort (and Dolph was there too). And in a non-wrestling capacity, Corbin and Bliss get a mention
While you could argue that the falcon arrow/ super-plex combo is old school, been there done that kind of thing, the move itself, as pulled off by Seth Rollins, just works.
I didn’t notice any
Had my hopes up for a Bray Wyatt return tonight. Instead….nothing.
No Way Jose and Jinder botched one. Either Jose was off on the timing or location of his cross body, or Jinder started taking the back bump earlier than needed.
There was a guy, a few seats from ringside, dressed as Big Poppa Pump. Chain mail head garb and sunglasses. I mean, Scott Steiner hasn’t been around WWE or even thought of in what, over a decade? And yet, there was the guy, rocking it.
It had been rumored for a little while now, that one possible idea for the next RAW general manager could be none other than Alexa Bliss. While Little Miss Bliss did not become RAW general manager tonight, you could say that the groundwork has been laid for it. Baron Corbin placed her in charge of the women’s division.
Maybe it played when I was out taking care of our puppy, but I did not see a Lars Sullivan promo. Either he is in hot water, I missed the spot, or WWE is already focused on SmackDown as his landing spot.
Anything with Alicia Fox.
The segment with Bayley and Banks. It was an obvious set-up.
Even though nothing was announced, we did not get a Bray Wyatt appearance tonight.
Top to bottom it was a good show. Not great, but good enough.
Overall, an acceptable show. Not sure they are getting the amount of hate they want for the big guys, but they have a little time let to figure that out.
