-By now, everyone should have seen the vignettes for Lars Sullivan, coming soon to the main roster. WWE surprised many when the promos ran first during Survivor Series weekend. Many feel that the Rocky Mountain Monster may still need some work in NXT, but executives in Stamford feel otherwise.

However, Ringside News has revealed that Lars Sullivan has a bit of a colorful and controversial history when it comes to internet message boards. Given how sensitive WWE is to it’s product, odds are someone within the company should have already uncovered these postings, but it is not a sure thing. What is certain is that others are becoming aware of his positions on some topics.

The big question now is, will this new attention on his internet history derail the big push Lars Sullivan was rumored to be getting? WWE has not made any announcement that would indicate the push is off yet. The bigger test will be if the Sullivan promo airs during RAW tonight. If it still airs, then it would appear WWE is comfortable with his past postings. If it does not air, then one has to wonder if the push Sullivan will be getting, will be out of WWE entirely.

-After a long time away from WWE, legendary luchador Rey Mysterio has returned to the company. In the time since he returned with his new contract, Mysterio has been quite active in the ring, working a number of high profile matches. Recently, Rey Mysterio spoke on Lillian Garcia’s podcast to discuss how much time he has left.

When asked, Mysterio felt like he has no more than five years left. Considering his in-ring style and his already lengthy career, it’s understandable. His contract with WWE expires before that self-imposed deadline (he signed a two year deal earlier this year). While he still can perform at a high level, he has said he is financially sound. Getting a few more good years of Mysterio before he retires is a great thing for wrestling fans around the globe.
