Jason Jordan Close? + Gail Kim Clarifies Racism Accusations

-Former tag team champion Jason Jordan appears as though he might be getting closer to a return to action. The Superstar has been out for a while now, having suffered a neck injury that derailed a strong push. The injury also killed off his major program with TV dad Kurt Angle, which was expected to culminate with a match at WrestleMania.

The rehabbing Superstar posted a tweet which certainly comes off as positive. Perhaps one half of what was American Alpha is nearing a WWE return?

While it may not indeed confirm his return, things at least appear to be on the right path for the recovering Superstar. While no return appears imminent, it’s always worth pointing out that we are near that time of year when surprise returns are expected. The Royal Rumble is in Arizona next January. Perhaps Jordan is rehabbing with that event in mind. Should he make it back in time for the Rumble, it’s certainly not impossible for WWE to set up an Angle/Jordan match for WrestleMania.

Gail Kim made news around the time of WWE’s Crown Jewel event, as she openly accused WWE of being a racist company. Her comments were specifically about how WWE had brought disgraced and racist Superstar Hulk Hogan back for the event.

She has now provided some clarification to her comments. She said that she knows not everyone at WWE is racist, but that the issue “starts from the top”.

It is interesting to see Kim clarify her remarks, to make things less general and more focused at company leadership. Based on these developments, it seems pretty clear that she won’t be expecting or accepting an invite back to the company anytime soon.
