– Hulk Hogan being announced for the Crown Jewel event has created quite the stir within the WWE Universe (and Internet), as many fans have been anxiously awaiting his official return since he was re-instated into the WWE Hall of Fame this past summer.
While he was formally announced for the event in recent days, also reportedly appearing in promotional materials for Crown Jewel, according to the PW Insider, the Hulkster has arrived in Saudi Arabia for the event already, and reports indicate he has come with a friend. Jimmy Hart was in tow for this trip, and whether or not The Mouth of the South is slated to participate in Crown Jewel is not known; however, Hogan and Jimmy are really good friends, so he may have come along to provide moral support to the Immortal One.
– While Alexa Bliss versus Trish Stratus was one of the first matches booked when the WWE’s first-ever all-women’s PPV Evolution was announced, the bout was initially changed to a tag match to include Mickie James and WWE Hall of Famer Lita, and then Alicia Fox replaced Bliss (both) due to injury.
Many fans were disappointed that Stratusfaction never got to lock up with Little Miss Bliss; however, comments as of late from Trish are giving us all hope. She spoke with Newsweek about WWE Evolution recently, and even took a moment to praise Bliss. Trish also stated that, “there’s still time” to work together, but the promos they had together made the work experience a real pleasure.
Only time will tell if Trish and Bliss will meet up in that squared circle, and there’s always Wrestlemania on the horizon, as well as other high-profile WWE events, to do so.
