There’s been plenty of debate about whether Chuck Liddell should continue to fight, following the 48-year-old’s knockout loss to Tito Ortiz last weekend, and now the legend’s been suspended indefinitely.
MMA Fighting is reporting that the California State Athletic Commission has suspended “The Iceman” indefinitely, in the wake of his first round, KO loss in Los Angeles on Saturday. The fight, which was Liddell’s first since 2010, was the latter’s fourth straight stoppage loss.
According to the report, Liddell will need to appear in front of the Commission and have his suspension lifted, before being cleared to fight in North America again. After Saturday’s loss, Liddell didn’t say whether he intends to retire again.
