Chris Weidman Posts Statement Following Devastating Loss to “Jacare” Souza

Although Chris Weidman suffered a devastating loss at UFC 230, the former middleweight champ is remaining upbeat, and is promising he’ll be back.

Weidman took on “Jacare” Souza at the event, and was taken out by the contender in round three, in what was a wildly, entertaining bout. The fight marked the fourth time in Weidman’s last five bouts that he’s been defeated.

Following the loss, the 34 year-old shared out the respectful comments below.

In Weidman’s previous bout, he submitted Kelvin Gastelum at UFC on FOX 25 last July.
