Ronday Rousey: Raw’s New “Face That Runs The Place”

– The WWE Universe was looking forward to seeing SmackDown LIVE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch lock up with current RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series; however, sadly due to an injury sustained at the close of this week’s Monday Night RAW (and at the hands of Nia Jax), Lynch is out of action and cannot compete this Sunday, and the match has been scrapped.

Charlotte Flair has been chosen as Becky’s Team Blue replacement, which will give fans a Wrestlemania-worthy bout at Survivor Series: Rousey versus Flair.

For anyone who follows wrestling spoilers (and we know there are many of you out there), then you already may be aware that Flair versus Rousey was being thrown around as a potential Wrestlemania 35 main event; however, now that they are locking up at Survivor Series, the idea of that happening once again on the Grandest Stage of All seems unlikely.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, the new plan for Wrestlemania 35’s main event seems to be Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey, marking it as the first-ever women’s match to close the huge event.

Becky Lynch has garnered huge attention over the past few months, and has a tremendous amount of momentum with the fans of late; so, if this plan ends up coming to fruition, it could be a very big deal for this incredible female superstar that has worked so hard to get to the top. One that currently seems unstoppable.

– As we all know, HHH suffered an injury at WWE’s Crown Jewel event in early November when he and buddy Shawn Michaels went toe-to-toe (and defeated) the Brothers of Destruction The Undertaker and Kane. The Game had surgery last week on a torn pectoral muscle, and participated in a media conference call recently, for his duties as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Triple H took the opportunity to update everyone on his recovery status, stating that ‘everything is feeling good’. He also noted he is using an immobilizer currently, undergoing rehab, is on the road to recovery, and that he will ‘be back’.

All of us here at Wrestlenewz wish Hunter the best, and can’t wait to see him return to that ring soon.
