WWE Tries To Sign Bullet Club Member, Kevin Nash Critical Of Talent

– The Bullet Club have several contracts that end in the coming months and there has been speculation of WWE trying to sign some members. During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE has reached out to “Hangman” Adam Page. Apparently, Page turned down the offer as he was not looking to split from the stable.

This would also explain a recent episode of YouTube’s Being The Elite. During the episode, Page is given a pair of cowboy boots from The Young Bucks and it is tagged with “Nice Try. If you want to be an assassin try being more cerebral. – H”. It was clearly taking a shot at Triple H.

WWE still has interest in Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes. There deals should end at the start of 2019.

– Kevin Nash had some interesting comments about the current wrestlers in WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer noted to Sporting News how he was watching SummerSlam and the highlight was a video package to hype Undertaker vs. Triple H for Super Show-Down.

“No one cares about the young guys,” said Nash. “I don’t know if I want to see Roman Reigns versus Undertaker again. What more of a rub can you give than that? He’s [been] given rubs before and they just aren’t getting over”

He continues how the likes of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins will not be able to compete for the same period of time such as Undertaker and Triple H due to their style.

“Those guys aren’t going to have 30 years in the business,” said Nash. “This style won’t allow these guys to last 30 years. Rollins already had a couple knee operations, but he’s a great worker. I just don’t see these guys even lasting 20 years because of their bodies and the concussion syndrome. Now, they [WWE] are doing concussion testing and everything else.”

Those are some hard words from Nash, but he might have a point. The way Rollins and Balor wrestle works for now, but their bodies won’t be able to perform at the same level for decades to come.
