Michael Johnson agreed to step up on short notice to fight Artem Lobov tonight at UFC Moncton, but conditioning certainly didn’t appear to be an issue for the featherweight.

Both fighters came out with a steady stream of punches, but in round one, Johnson appeared to find the target more often. In round two, the fast pace continued, but Lobov started to find his range more often.

Round three saw both men continue to fire plenty of punches, but Johnson out struck Lobov in many of the exchanges and he also scored a late takedown. After the final horn, Johnson was handed the unanimous decision win.
