Samoa Joe Future In Doubt

– Samoa Joe is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He last competed on the October 9 SmackDown, losing a qualifying match for the World Cup Tournament set for Crown Jewel. The referee stopped his match against Jeff Hardy due to a leg injury, which seemed to be part of the storyline.

Since coming to the main roster, Joe has seen several setbacks due to injury. In fact, he is yet to compete at WrestleMania; missing the last two cards.

Before getting hurt, Joe unsuccessfully challenged WWE Champion AJ Styles on several occasions. That feud concluded at the Super Show-Down from Australia.

– Speaking of injured superstars, Bobby Lashley is dealing with a separated shoulder. He is in considerable pain, but is trying to get through the situation.

Recently, Lashley turned heel after being paired with Lio Rush as his mouthpiece. Considering how WWE had to change several plans due Roman Reigns taking an unspecified amount of time off to deal with his leukemia, Lashley being hurt is another obstacle the company does not need at the moment.

Even if Lashley avoids surgery, he might need to take some time off. On this past Monday’s RAW, Lashley lost to Finn Balor, who he has been working a short program with.

– WWE is debating a possible reunion of the Wyatt Family. With Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper having no major storylines, the idea to reunite them has been discussed.

Bray’s tag team partner, Matt Hardy, seemingly retired due to several lingering injuries. As for Harper, his run as SmackDown Tag Team Champions with Rowan ended due to an injury suffered at SummerSlam. Neither have appeared on TV for over a month.

Even though WWE has tried to separate the Wyatt Family in the past, the stable always finds a way to reform. It is like a curse.
