Rock At SD LIVE 1000 + Future Match, Brie Bella/Liv Morgan at Evolution?

– It only makes sense to try and secure Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for SmackDown LIVE’s huge 1000-episode celebration, as the show was named the Great One’s catchphrase, and the superstar helped to build up the Blue brand when it initially came on the air.

Well, Barnburner’s No Holds Barred Joe Peisich stated during his podcast that The Rock is scheduled to return during SD LIVE 1,000 (only about a week away), but even more interesting is that he could also set up a bigger match in the near future during his appearance.

While this news does sound exciting, The Rock has a tremendously busy schedule filled with Hollywood projects. Here’s hoping his schedule can align with the WWE pay-per-view (PPV) calendar, as many fans would love to see his return.

– A few weeks back, the Internet and social media were all a buzz when a couple of botched up Yes! Kicks from Brie Bella resulted in a concussion for Liv Morgan. While some believe it wasn’t entirely Bella’s fault and accidents happen all the time in that squared circle, there are others who think that Brie should either hang up her wrestling boots for good, or spend some time at NXT/WWE’s Developmental Center to improve her ring rust and wrestling skills.

Regardless, for anyone watching last night’s Monday Night RAW, the six-woman tag match offered some tremendous storytelling. Not only did the Bella Twins turn heel by attacking fellow teammate Ronda Rousey, setting up a match for the RAW Women’s title between the Baddest Woman On the Planet and Nikki at Evolution; there was also some pretty interesting exchanges between Brie Bella and Liv Morgan.

So much so, that Wrestling Observer Radio’s Bryan Alvarez noted there was so much interaction between these two women during the start of the match, that he believes the company may book a singles’ bout between these two ladies at Evolution, WWE’s first-ever all-women’s PPV set for later this month on Sunday October 28.

The WWE Universe must wait and see; however, Alvarez does have a point. It might also be a good idea to capitalize on the real-life situation, with so much heat on the Bellas right. The fans seem quite invested in this situation on social media, so time will only tell.
