Dana White Talks UFC 229 With Dan Hardy, Explains Why 165 Division’s “Not Going to Happen”

There’s been a ton of talk recently about the UFC adding a 165 pound division, but Dana White continues to insist it’s not going to happen.

Several fighters have called for a 165 division over the preceding months, but after Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier claimed on Twitter they’re fighting for a 165 title, buzz about the division has reached new heights. Even Conor McGregor has said it should happen.

Well, recently White spoke with Dan Hardy for a BT Sport segment regarding UFC 229 etc, and the UFC President emphatically explained why he’s not on board with a 165 division. You can check out the interview below.
