Crown Jewel Not Listed On WWE's Calendar

– There has been lots of discussion over the past 10 days about the status of Crown Jewel. The United States has been critical of Saudi Arabia after a Washington Post journalist was kidnapped and believed to have been murdered. This has led to threats of retaliation from the United States and many key Senators have told WWE to not host Crown Jewel.

In the latest twist, Crown Jewel is no longer listed on WWE’s calendar for upcoming events. The event is still still under the ‘shows’ section of WWE’s website, but there is no mention of Saudi Arabia. This could be a sign that the event is either cancelled or WWE is looking for a new location.

Crown Jewel is set for November 2 and the big selling point is Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement to team with Triple H against Undertaker & Kane.

With less than three weeks to go, WWE might have to make a decision in the next 48 hours. As of now, WWE has only mentioned that they are monitoring the situation.

– The Evolution pay per view will see names from the past, present and future of the wrestling business. While some names have been confirmed or at least rumored, do not expect to see former Women’s Champion Jazz.

On Twitter, a fan asked Jazz if she would be taking part in the historic event and commented that it was not happening. The question from the fan came after Jazz mentioned she would like to wrestle Sasha Banks.

Before joining WWE in 2001, Jazz worked for ECW before they folded due to bankruptcy. She spent several years in WWE, winning their Women’s Championship on two occasions. Her biggest match was probably winning a triple threat against Trish Stratus and Lita at WrestleMania 18 to remain champion.

In 2004, Jazz left WWE before returning in the middle of 2006 as part of the new ECW brand. She was released from WWE for good in early 2007 alongside her husband Rodney Mack and several other superstars. Since then, she has continued to work the Indy scene.

Evolution is October 28 from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It will feature women from NXT, NXT UK, RAW and SmackDown.
