Jon Voight Defies Hollywood Liberals – Takes Impassioned Stand for Trump

Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight refuses to hide his support of President Trump and in the liberal world of Hollywood, that’s a hard breed to find. Actors are being blacklisted left and right for daring to praise the president in any way.  Because of this, it’s rare to find any entertainer who is brave enough to risk their career by doing so.

Fox News reported that Voight just slammed the left for “conjuring lies and slanders” about Trump, saying that they are only doing this because the president is really making good on his campaign promises.

“The virulence is because he’s effective,” Voight said during an interview with Mark Levin on Sunday. “He’s actually doing what said he would do. Amazing thing in itself, isn’t it?”

Voight went on to say that Trump’s success is shaking up the mainstream media so much that all they can do is attack.

“This is their dying breath. They have to stop him somehow. So you see these very extraordinary things they come up with, that’s what they do,” Voight explained. “Conjuring lies and slanders against this man trying to destroy this presidency. It’s that simple.”

Levin later asked Voight how he deals with all of the liberals in Hollywood. The actor acknowledged the overwhelming presence but assured him there are more conservatives in Hollywood than it appears from the outside. He explained why the left has been so effective in Hollywood and it absolutely true.

“Why? Because they’re important. That’s why the left is focused on Hollywood, that’s why they’re focused on our universities,” Voight explained. “They know exactly what they’re doing. They’ve organized and been very effective. So we have a very big job on our hands.”
