Sylvester Stallone just made an announcement that has his legions of fans feeling very excited! Stallone revealed he may star as the action hero John Rambo in another movie!
Lifezette reported that Stallone has played this role in four movies, with the last one being released in 2008. Over the weekend, Stallone took to Instagram to tease a fifth movie, writing, “A SAVAGE RISING! … soon.”
He later dropped a second hint that a new Rambo movie is coming when he wrote, “The Devil came from Arizona @rambomovie.”
The Rambo movies have always been a huge success, earning over $700 million for the four films total. Now 72, Stallone was 36 when he first played Rambo, but this is not the only character he has not given up on. Stallone will also be playing his legendary character of Rocky Balboa in the upcoming movie Creed II, which is due to be released in November.
Stallone is particularly beloved among conservative fans as he is one of the few actors in Hollywood who openly supports President Donald Trump. While the vast majority of actors in Hollywood are liberal, Stallone has always been open about his support for Trump. Earlier this year, Stallone headed to the White House to convince Trump to posthumously pardon heavyweight boxing champion Jack Johnson, who was convicted in 1913 of violating the Mann Act after he transported his white girlfriend across state lines for “immoral purposes.”
