Over the past few months, Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle has regularly been giving interviews to the press in which she blasts the new royal and completely throws her under the bus. Now, Samantha has reemerged once again to show how shameless she really is by blatantly admitting that she has sold out her own sister for fame and fortune.
Page Six reported that while appearing on “Good Morning Britain” on Monday morning, Samantha admitted that she has sold her sister out in order to make a living for herself.
“I worked in media most of my life and in broadcasting, so because my sister is suddenly royal isn’t grounds for me to stop doing all of that,” Samantha said. “Let’s face it — we all have to survive. Money makes the world go round, so if you want to call that cashing in, that’s fine, but I think no one in media would refuse a paycheck for talking about the royal and, as a family, we’re not subject to royal protocol. Why would I stop living because we have a family issue going on?”
And she didn’t stop there…
“No one has a copyright on our life experiences and so, I think the public forgets that within the family, we’re each individuals with our own life experiences,” Samantha continued. “With all due respect, it’s not just Meghan. We’re entitled to share that. We’re entitled to be open about it and if we can shed some light on some issues for the public, then great and we can enjoy the process. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It’s not disparaging. It’s not harmful.”
Samantha has been out to get Meghan ever since the Duchess of Sussex did not invite her to her May wedding to Prince Harry. Though the two have been estranged for many years, Samantha was infuriated that she was snubbed from the wedding, and began getting her revenge by making increasingly offensive comments about Meghan in interviews and on Twitter. In one particularly vile rant, she went after Prince Harry, even bringing up his deceased mother Princess Diana.
“Harry is a wuss to allow the Duchess of Nonsense to mistreat everyone who has been close to her, especially her family,” Samantha tweeted. “Diana would be ashamed. Stop wearing Meg’s skivvies and bra and take your pants off of her!”
Social media users have made it clear that they have had enough of Samantha attacking the royal.
“I don’t know why SM cares what the tabloids say..she isn’t anybody important. SM actually believes she herself is a celebrity,” one social media user wrote. “Sorry lady, you’re not! The world can’t wait for you to go away.”
“Samantha Markle really needs to get a grip, everything this woman says just makes her look bitter & jealous,” another social media user added.
It’s sickening that Samantha has consciously betrayed her own flesh and blood just to get herself publicity and cash. Though she may think she is taking Meghan down, all that Samantha is really doing is showing the public exactly why the royal did not want her at her wedding in the first place!
