She’s been training for a few months and even had a few matches. We speculated and HOPED that she would be an entrant. And now it is official. ESPN is reporting that former Divas champion Kaitlyn (real name Celeste Bonin) will return to WWE as an entrant in the second Mae Young Classic!

She’s nervous, but she’s ready!
“The thing that got me through [as a rookie in WWE] and the thing that allowed me to achieve my level of success was my attitude, and looking back now, I am coming back with experience,” Bonin said. “I am certainly nervous because the level of competition is so much higher and there are so many different women from around the world and they bring skill levels. But it’s just so exciting.”
This is great news! Kaitlyn was probably my favorite wrestler in the “Divas era.” She has a unique look and strength that a lot of the other girls lacked. Her matches towards the end of her first run with AJ Lee were spectacular and certainly helped pave the way for the Women’s Revolution, showing early on that the girls could go just as hard as the boys.
She is the official entrant in the Mae Young Classic. Other speculated entrants include recent signing Io Shirai, 2017 semi-finalist Toni Storm, and NXT signee Tegan Nox (fka Nixon Newell)
