The Eater of Worlds has been quite the interesting character in the WWE. From the Wyatt Family to the Deleter of Worlds, he has left quite the mark on the tag team division. But are there certain things we do not know about Bray Wyatt yet? Here are some Bray Wyatt facts to help you get all the Bray info you require!

1. He Got Into University with a Football Scholarship

Even though Bray Wyatt came from a wrestling family, like most wrestlers, he had an aptitude for football as well. In fact, Bray ended up in university thanks to a football scholarship.

Before receiving his football scholarship, Bray Wyatt spent two seasons playing for the College of Sequoias. He would be noticed as a sophomore offensive guard, ultimately earning him a scholarship at Troy University. His football prowess eventually won him the title of “Army Tank with a Ferrari Engine.”

After playing for Troy University for two years, he decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling.

2. He’s From a Big Wrestling Family

As mentioned already, Bray Wyatt comes from quite an impressive wrestling family. His father is none other than Mike Rotunda (aka IRS), while his grandfather is Blackjack Mulligan. He also has two wrestling uncles, Barry and Kendall Windham. Of course, don’t forget his brother is also a WWE wrestler, fighting under the name Bo Dallas.

3. He Had the Best and Worst Match in One Year

Having the best match of the year as a wrestler is a significant accomplishment, but what happens if you get the worst match of the year in the same wrestling year? Well, if you would need to ask anyone, Bray Wyatt would be it.

Wyatt had a weird year in 2014. He had a fantastic feud with Daniel Bryan, but then an awful rivalry with John Cena. The rivalry with Cena eventually led to the dubious title of “Worst Worked Match of the Year” from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter; this from their match at Extreme Rules. However, Sports Illustrated would give Cena’s and Wyatt’s match at Payback the title of “Best Match of the Year.”

4. He’s Had Many Different Wrestling Names

Wyatt had many wrestling names in the past. Many of them were based on his family’s legacy since he has wrestled under the name Alex Rotundo and Duke Rotundo. He’s also fought under the names Husky Harris and Alex Mulligan until he came up with Bray Wyatt.

5. He Used a Stunner as His Finishing Move

The Stunner was made famous by none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin, who dubbed it the Stone Cold Stunner. John Cena has also used the Stunner in the past, albeit a variation on Stone Cold’s original stunner.

While the Stunner is not often used as a finisher, Bray Wyatt is one wrestler who used the Stunner as a finisher. While he was known to use the move while he wrestled under the name Alex Mulligan, Wyatt eventually switched to Sister Abigail when he became Bray Wyatt.
