Bo D

Bo Dallas is one of the WWE superstars I want more television time for, maybe even an interesting rivalry or two. Many people do not realize how long Bo Dallas has been active in the WWE, nor are they aware of his amazing skill set. It is time to get more familiar with Bo Dallas through the five facts we provided below!

1. He Comes from a Wrestling Family

Many wrestlers on the main roster come from a wrestling family. The same applies to Bo Dallas. His grandfather is Blackjack Mulligan and his father is Mike Rotunda. His uncles are also wrestlers Barry Windham and Kendall Windham. Of course, Bo Dallas also has a brother on the WWE roster, Bray Wyatt (Windham Lawrence Rotunda).

2. He’s Been with the WWE for a Very Long Time

Even though Bo has not been featured as much as other WWE superstars on the main roster, he has been with the WWE for quite some time. He was first signed to the old FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling); this was the former training and developmental section of the WWE. Bo Dallas remained on this developmental brand from 2008 until 2012.

When the Florida Championship Wrestling promotion changed into NXT, Bo Dallas would continue to compete on the developmental brand. During his time at NXT, he had an amazing feud with Adrian Neville.

3. He’s Won Multiple Championships in FCW and NXT

While Bo Dallas has remained somewhat in the background on the main roster, he has accomplished quite a bit on the developmental brands of the WWE. He won the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship three times, the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship two times, and the NXT championship one time.

3. His First Vignette Was Released in 2014

Bo Dallas’ Bo-Lieve character was introduced to the RAW crowd for the first time on April 7, 2014. Most of you will remember it, because it was the vignette that started the iconic Bo-Lieve stick.

While some fans absolutely despised the motivational speaker character of Bo Dallas, I was one of the people that absolutely adored it. If I wasn’t laughing, I was cheering with the rest of the Bo-Lieve nation. Hopefully, the WWE will give that character a little more television time in the future, but so far Bo is doing great with the B-Team tag team.

4. He Actually Made His Main Roster Debut in 2013

Most of us remember Bo Dallas from his vignette in 2014, but not many people realize that Dallas made his main roster debut in 2013!

Bo made his debut during the 2013 Royal Rumble, entering at number 16. He was selected for this honor after winning the first Royal Rumble Fanfest, an NXT tournament at the time.

5. He’s Married to a Former Professional Wrestler

Dallas is happily married to Sarah Backman, a former professional wrestler and arm wrestler. Backman was signed with the WWE from 2013 to 2014, spending her time in NXT. However, Backman would change her career after marrying Bo Dallas in 2014, becoming a real estate broker.
