Last week, Roseanne Barr’s eponymous sitcom “Roseanne” was canceled after she posted a racist tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett. Now, she has been given an offer that she will likely see as another harsh blow from the entertainment industry.

The Wrap reported that adult-entertainment studio XBlaze has offered Barr a role in their upcoming BBW specialty line, XXXLBlaze. XBlaze CEO Jeff Dillon offered Barr the part for a whopping $150,000 in a letter that he sent to her on Tuesday.

“Part of what makes you unique as an actress, entrepreneur and media personality is your attitude, specific beliefs and openness in saying exactly what you think and feel. Sometimes that can get you into trouble, especially in this politically correct world we now live in,” he wrote. “While this is not your usual brand of mainstream entertainment, we are certain that someone like you, a superstar who still VERY influential in today’s pop culture, can pull off the performance of a lifetime as an adult entertainer in an industry that allows its stars to be themselves.”

Barr will undoubtedly be insulted that an adult film company would think someone with the decades of success she has achieved would ever stoop so low as to participate in pornography.

“Roseanne Barr is an icon who has been part of the American pop culture landscape for over 30 years, and we want to celebrate her brilliance and unique talents with a showcase scene for XXXLBlaze,” Dillon said in a statement. “She would be quite welcome in the adult industry, a place that understands and embraces outspoken, flamboyant and different kinds of people who speak their minds.”

It’s no secret that Barr is more desperate for cash than she has been in decades, as the backlash from her comment about Jarrett has cost her millions of dollars. Not only did ABC cancel her top-rated sitcom, other networks followed suit by canceling all reruns of “Roseanne,” costing Barr millions in residuals. Liberals have made it clear that they intend to make sure that nobody in Hollywood hires her again, so Barr will have to get creative if she wants to find a way to make money. That being said, we would be shocked if Barr would ever sink so low as to go against her morals by appearing in an adult film. We have every faith in her that she will find a way to turn this dark time into something positive.
