Police Searching For Florida Man Hanging Off Car Going 70 MPH

A Florida Man just dialed up the crazy by riding on the hood of a car on I-95. He casually hung on with only one hand while talking on a cell phone as the Mercedes Benz traveled at speeds over 70 miles per hour.

Daniel Midah was shocked to look over and see this happening on the highway. He recorded it and called police with the license tag information. He recognized that the Benz driver was putting everyone on the highway at risk by having this man ride on the hood.

“All I was thinking is, this guy is going to slide off and hit me, slide off the other side or, if anything, he is going to slide down and she is going to hit him, and then she is going to crash into somebody else,” Midah said.

“He didn’t even look like he was freaked out by what was going on, but I was freaking out,” Midah reported. “It wasn’t just their safety, but the safety of everyone around them.”

Both the driver and the hood surfer appeared calm. They even appeared to be speaking to each other on the phone as they flew down the highway.

This situation is even more bizarre and dangerous as Midah’s girlfriend took the wheel of the car while he recorded the video. That decision was almost as stupid as the one he was filming. Why didn’t he have his girlfriend record the video? This two-driver approach could have easily caused an accident as well!

You think you’ve seen it all and then something like this happens in Florida! Police are interested in finding this driver but are also concerned this will encourage copycatters to give it a try. Let’s hope no one else is this stupid.
